A Q-SUN Solar brilha na “NET ZERO WEEK” de Omã, em parceria para um futuro com baixas emissões de carbono no Médio Oriente

Q-SUN Solar Shines at Oman’s “NET ZERO WEEK,” Partnering for a Low-Carbon Future in the Middle East.Driven by global energy transition and carbon neutrality goals, Oman’s “NET ZERO WEEK” event grandly opened today, attracting energy industry elites and pioneering companies from across the Middle East and Oman. As the exclusive official partner of this event, Q-SUN Solar made its debut in Oman’s energy industry network, demonstrating its unwavering commitment and tangible actions in driving regional green energy transformation, and showcasing China’s excellence in green energy technological innovation.

Expanding into the Middle East, Supporting Oman’s Vision 2040, and Driving Renewable Energy Development

In August of this year, Q-SUN Solar entered into a strategic partnership with Bakarat Investment, a prominent renewable energy company in Oman, announcing the establishment of a solar module production base in Oman’s Sohar Free Trade Zone. The production facility is located in Phase 7 of the Sohar Madayn Industrial Area and will focus on producing high-efficiency TOPCON and HJT solar modules, with an annual production capacity of 10GW and a total investment of $200 million.

This initiative not only helps Oman achieve the strategic goals of promoting local manufacturing and renewable energy transformation as outlined in its Vision 2040 but also marks the official launch of “Q-SUN in Oman” overseas project, signaling the company’s major entry into the Middle Eastern market and its deepening engagement with the regional solar market. With the introduction of advanced photovoltaic manufacturing technologies, Oman’s solar technology will be further upgraded to meet the growing clean energy demands of the Middle East, providing strong support for the region’s low-carbon economic transition and contributing to the global zero-carbon future.

Focusing on the Middle Eastern Market, Seizing the Opportunity

The event also highlighted Oman’s position in large-scale solar projects, discussing how Omani companies maintain leadership and exploring the vast potential of 18,349 MW of solar capacity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In his keynote speech, Mr. Chen Liang, Global Sales Director of Q-SUN Solar, deeply analyzed the enormous potential of the Middle Eastern solar market. He pointed out that the region’s abundant solar resources, vast land, and supportive government policies provide strong momentum for the development of clean energy.

According to statistics, the total installed capacity of the Middle East solar market reached 20.5-23.6GW in 2023, and it is expected to expand to 29-35GW by 2027, demonstrating strong growth momentum. Mr. Chen Liang stated that Q-SUN Solar will continue to optimize its strategic layout and work with Middle Eastern partners to take a leading position in this green energy wave.

During the event, Q-SUN Solar showcased its next-generation solar modules, highlighting their technical advantages and real-world applications. These modules feature innovative photovoltaic conversion technologies, enabling them to maintain high-efficiency and stable power generation performance under extreme conditions such as high temperatures and sandstorms, providing local customers with more reliable and cost-effective energy solutions.

Recruiting Talent to Build a Green Future Together

Building upon the successful establishment of Q-SUN Solar’s Oman factory, Q-SUN Solar has further announced a new talent recruitment program. As the company continues to expand its operations in the Middle East, there is a growing need to recruit a new generation of professionals with international perspectives and specialized skills. The company particularly encourages both local Omani youth and the Chinese diaspora in Oman to actively participate in promoting green energy development in the Middle East and globally.

Q-SUN Solar invites passionate individuals to join and together write a new chapter in green energy development, contributing to the global carbon neutrality goal!
