Q-SUN Solar’s SUPERME Series TOPCon Physical Four-Core Multi-Cut Modules have successfully earned TÜV SÜD product certification. The certified scope covers three-cut and four-cut double-glass modules with both four-junction-box and conventional two-junction-box configurations, across multiple formats and power classes.
During long-term operation, shading from buildings or rooftop equipment, as well as dust and fallen leaves, can cause mismatch losses, reduced output and hot-spot risks. Combining high-efficiency TOPCon cells, multi-cut technology and an independent four-core architecture, SUPERME modules help confine the impact of partial shading to smaller electrical sections, reducing mismatch and thermal risks while improving operational stability.
The certification was conducted in accordance with IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023. Compared with previous editions, the updated standards introduce cyclic dynamic mechanical load and potential-induced degradation (PID) testing, while expanding test methods for bifacial modules. The assessment covers damp heat, thermal cycling, hot-spot endurance, mechanical load, insulation safety and PID resistance, placing more stringent requirements on module durability, safety and long-term reliability.

The certification documentation also defines critical materials and components, while TÜV SÜD production surveillance helps ensure consistency between mass-produced modules and the certified design. The certificate confirms Safety Class II, a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V DC and a Class C fire rating in accordance with UL 790.
This achievement provides authoritative recognition of the safety, reliability and manufacturing consistency of Q-SUN SUPERME modules, further strengthening their quality credentials for distributed and utility-scale solar projects worldwide.
Q-SUN Solar will continue to address real-world project needs through technological innovation and rigorous quality standards, delivering safer, more efficient and more reliable solar products to customers worldwide.
